Clear answers, from the first fitting to caring for a favourite pair.
Size, fit, care and after-sales questions — the essentials in one place.

Five steps to choosing a size

Measure both feet
With the child standing on a level surface, mark the heel and longest toe. Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.

Confirm the style
Compare length, width and instep with the particular style’s measurements. Age alone cannot determine size.

Use the right socks
Try the pair with the intended socks. Allowance depends on the footwear type and the guidance for that style.

Let them walk
Toes should not press against the front, fastenings should not squeeze and the heel should not slip excessively. Let the child take a few steps.

Recheck the fit
Compare current measurements and the child’s feedback. Seek a qualified professional if discomfort persists.
There is no single size chart for every style. Send the style code and both-foot measurements so we can clarify suitable sizes and internal dimensions.

Clean gently
Remove dry dirt with a soft brush. Use a method suited to the material; test a new product on an inconspicuous area first.
Dry naturally
Let footwear dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct heat. Do not machine-wash unless the style’s care instructions allow it.
Store dry
Store clean, fully dry footwear in a ventilated place. Check fastenings and soles regularly.
More on shoe careHelp after a purchase
For quality, packing or order questions, start with the seller you purchased from. The GARSTUK team can also help clarify brand or style questions.
- Include the order number, seller and style code.
- Briefly describe the question and purchase date.
- Have shoe photographs ready if needed. Do not send bank details or identity-document photographs.

Returns & exchanges, without guesswork
Terms depend on the seller, country, order type and applicable requirements. Purchases from another store follow that seller’s terms; custom wholesale and production orders are agreed separately.
First confirm the enquiry process, return address and handover method. Keep purchase evidence and packaging where required for review. Do not send footwear to an unconfirmed address.
Delivery & returns are part of choosing
Moscow
Moscow stock: around 3 days within Russia and 10 days to Europe after dispatch. Russia-to-Russia delivery is free from 2,500 RUB, or 300 RUB below that value, for Russian-stock dispatches only.
Beijing & pre-orders
Beijing stock: approximately 20–30 days after dispatch. Pre-orders follow an agreed dispatch schedule based on the order date and style readiness.
14 days
For direct website retail purchases: request a return or exchange within 14 days of receipt if non-faulty footwear remains in saleable condition. Mandatory consumer rights and faulty-goods claims are not limited.
